William Bonner, O.D.

Dr. William Bonner is a board-certified optometrist who specializes in the examination, diagnosis, treatments, and management of diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, and the eye, as well as the co-management of postoperative ocular surgeries.

A native of West Virginia, Dr. William Bonner received his Bachelor of Arts from Rice University in 1983 and his Doctor of Optometry from The University of Houston in 1987. He has served his community for over 35 years and is a member of the American Optometric Society of America, the Georgia Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. 

Dr. Bonner resides in Holly Springs with his wife, Judith, a school librarian, and his daughter, Bethany, a nursing student at Kennesaw State University.  During his free time, he enjoys taking his cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Penny, on therapy dog visits.

Dr. Bonner will be seeing patients at our Dawsonville location in February 2023.
